Funky symbols for your tweets

Getting noticed among the thousands of tweets posted each day on twitter can be a struggle, but standing out from the crowd can be as easy as adding some funky symbols to your tweets. Their easy to do, with just a few shortcuts on your keyboard, you’ll be standing out from the crowd on twitter in an instant. 

Shortcuts

To add these funky symbols to your tweets you’ll need to; 

1. Turn on Num Lock

2. Hold down ALT and a number on your numeric keypad

For example, you press ALT + 1 for a smiley face ☺

◘ 8
○ 9
◙ 10
♂ 11
♀ 12
♪ 13
♫ 14
☼ 15

The symbols continue with the numbers on your keyboard. The symbols get funkier too - ☠✵✺☮☯☂☁*. Adding symbols can allow anyone to get creative. Add smbols to descibe your day such as ‘It’s ☂ raining outside!’ or even play some chess - ♔♕♖♗♙♘.

Just remember not to overload your tweets with symbols. You’ll quickly scare away tweeters by the dozen.
